Who We Are

Medicals Australia is built on a vision of delivering smarter, faster, and more reliable occupational medical solutions across Australia and New Zealand.

At the forefront of this vision is our Managing Director, Bim Rutherford, whose leadership and innovative business model have reshaped and modernised our organisation.

Founded in 2020, Medicals Australia is now entering its sixth year of operation. In that time, we have grown to become the largest independent facilitator of occupational medical services in Australia, partnering with a 400+ clinic network spanning Australia and New Zealand.

Each clinic is carefully selected—predominantly independent—supported by strong, long-standing relationships that ensure prioritised bookings, quality service, and fast turnaround times.

Bim Rutherford

We are recognised as industry leaders in facilitating occupational medical assessments, providing a streamlined, end-to-end solution that combines professionalism, accessibility, and a genuinely personal approach. More and more recruiters and organisations are choosing to outsource the entire medical process to us—a smart and efficient way to reduce administrative burden, eliminate follow-up delays, and receive real-time results.

With specialist expertise in mine and mineral medicals, along with broad experience across construction, logistics, and transport, we bring depth, capability, and confidence to every assessment we manage. We thrive on challenges, adapt quickly, and consistently deliver outcomes that our clients trust.

Our bookings team is at the heart of our service. Bringing together backgrounds in occupational nursing, clinical administration, health and safety, and industry recruitment, our team prides itself on being personal, professional, and accessible. When needed, we offer after-hours support, ensuring flexibility and continuity for our clients.

All medical results are compliant, quality-checked, and released in real time as soon as they are received, maintaining absolute efficiency and accuracy throughout the process.

At Medicals Australia, we listen, we adapt, we simplify—and we deliver.
